GENERAL QUESTIONS

What does AnchorPoint specialize in?

We blend IT support, home + office installations, and modern interior design.
From TV mounting and LED setups to office redesigns and WiFi optimization, we help create spaces that are both functional and beautiful.


Where do you provide service?

We currently serve all NYC boroughs — Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, the Bronx, and Staten Island.
Travel fees may apply for locations outside NYC.


Do I need to prepare anything before you arrive?

Not much!
Just make sure the workspace is clear and that you have any devices (TV, router, LED kit, etc.) ready for installation.
If we are installing wall slats or a feature wall, please clear furniture away from that wall.


Do you bring your own tools and materials?

Yes — we bring all professional tools needed.
We can also supply mounts, LED kits, cables, raceways, and accessories at additional cost.


Can I provide my own equipment?

Yes, you may.
However, we cannot warranty or guarantee the performance of customer-provided hardware.


SERVICES & INSTALLATION

How long does a typical installation take?  ***ESTIMATIONS ONLY ACTUAL TIMES MAY VARY***

  • TV Mounting: 45–90 minutes

  • LED Installations: 45–120 minutes

  • Wall Slats: 2–4 hours (depending on size)

  • WiFi/Router Setup: 30–60 minutes

  • Printer Setup: 20–40 minutes

  • Office Setup: 1–3 hours

We always give estimated timelines before starting.


Can you hide cables inside the wall?

Yes — if the wall and structure allow it.
Some walls (brick, concrete, metal studs, narrow cavities) may limit in-wall routing.

We will explain limitations before drilling.


What if my walls are old or uneven?

We can still mount and install, but we will let you know upfront if:

  • studs are loose

  • plaster is brittle

  • alignment may vary

  • anchors need reinforcement

AnchorPoint is not liable for pre-existing wall conditions.


Do you clean up after the job?

Yes — we remove packaging, dust, and debris.
Your space will look clean and organized.


What if something doesn’t look the way I expected?

We do a final walkthrough and adjustment session before leaving.
We encourage clients to speak up so everything is perfect before job completion.


INTERIOR DESIGN SERVICES

How does an interior design consultation work?

We visit your space, evaluate layout, lighting, and design goals, then provide a full aesthetic and functional plan.
Consultation fee is $150 and applied toward larger design projects.


Can you redesign my home office?

Yes — we specialize in home offices and small studio workspaces.
From lighting and layout to cable management and equipment setup, we transform the entire environment.


Do you offer 3D room previews?

Yes.
We can create 3D renders of your design plan for $120 per room.


IT & TECH SUPPORT

Why is my WiFi still slow after installation?

Internet speed depends on your ISP (Spectrum, Verizon, etc.), not AnchorPoint.
We optimize your router, placement, and configuration — but ISP limitations still apply.

This is explained before every job.


Do you fix laptops and phones?

Yes — we offer troubleshooting, optimization, hardware upgrades, and certain repairs.
Pricing ranges from $80–$140 depending on the issue.


Can you set up my small business network?

Absolutely.
We offer:

  • router + switch setup

  • printer configuration

  • AD/basic network setup

  • cable management

  • office layout planning

We also offer monthly retainer plans.


ANCHORCARE™ SUBSCRIPTION

What is AnchorCare™?

A $29/month plan that gives you:

  • unlimited remote tech support

  • two remote check-ins per month

  • priority booking

  • 10% off installations

  • annual on-site tech audit

Great for clients who want long-term support.


Can I cancel anytime?

Yes — no commitment.
You can cancel at any time with no fees.


PAYMENTS & POLICIES

How do I pay?

We accept:

  • Zelle

  • Cash

  • Card

  • PayPal

  • Invoice

Payment is due immediately upon completion.


Do you require deposits?

For large design or installation projects, a 20–40% deposit is required to reserve materials and time.


What is your rework policy?

  • If it’s our mistake → free fix.

  • If the client changes their mind or wants adjustments after approval → billed at standard hourly rate.


Do you offer warranties?

Yes — 7-day workmanship warranty on our labor.
Not included:

  • client-provided hardware

  • ISP issues

  • software problems

  • accidental damage

  • pre-existing wall or structural issues


Do you offer refunds?

We offer service corrections, not refunds, for completed labor.
For design work, consultation fees are non-refundable after service.
